As They call it - MUMBAI

Not my first; but one of rare
Short crisp tour here.

Heard since childhood about it
Made many conclusions to be a misfit.

Thought life has its own pace here
Fake is welcomed, Truth is fear.

Nothing heard bout it was so clear
Mumbai seemed far, Mumbai was near.

Mumbai, they say, is a rat race
Changing gears, changing pace.

Glamour and richness was all over
You will get them all from rags to sober.

Indecency is inherent of the crowd
The only place, they say, where smile could be loud.

Everyone busy, everyone halts
You just need to take everything with a pinch of salt.

Nothing at all was what I heard
Nobody's city, everybody nurtured.

Life is a question from rags to rich
A question bout when... what... which...

What I noticed here is strange
Mumbai is 'A Stagnant Change'

They walk their path in style
Have time rare to stare a while.

On the move they grab their bite
whose bother whether wrong or right.

But in the arrogance you smell all around
You can hear a hidden helpful sound.

Mumbai know what Mumbai wants
It knows what to hide, what to flaunt.

Mumbai taught 'Never to shy'
Go with the flow, 'why to ask why???'

A place where you hear
Both giggle and sigh
A place that will give you
Reasons to fly
I bid my BOMBAY, a quite good bye,

As they call it - MUMBAI.
