Cloud I Saw

When I look up the sky,

I could see white clouds around,

Floating down to the east

Slow, silent & sound.

They are not concerned of world,

They don’t care of anything

They continue their journey,

And walk with dignity of their being.

Soon, I know, they will come to you

And rest at your part of the sky,

You may notice them or may not

You may feel, as did I.

I was thinking why can’t we,

Be as free as they are

And cross these thousand miles,

And need not remain so far.

Why can’t we not care?

Of what people say about us

Why can’t we keep ourselves?

Out of this worldly fuss.

When GOD is the mentor of both

-          Me & the roaming cloud,

Why am I trapped here?

Why is it not bound?

Imagine if you and I,

Can be as free as they

Can see each other anytime,

And be on the same way

No doubts, the clouds end somewhere

And fall down in form of rain,

But we shouldn’t forget, they form

Clouds to meet their dear ones again.

Can one answer, why are we

Clutched by these worldly jaws

Can’t we live our lives?

As free as the CLOUD I SAW.
